Denise Fladager

Denise Fladager, joined our faculty January 2010. She is a former dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, and comes from a strong Russian and Balanchine training. Her first teacher, Daphne Slompka, was one of Balanchine's original members of his first American Ballet company in New York City. Her training continued with the San Francisco Ballet, where she was the recipient of scholarships that allowed her to study with Anatole Vilzak and his wife, Ludmilla Shollar (both of the Russian Imperial ballet,) Harold Christensen, and Ron Chetwood. She joined the company at 15. Her teaching experience includes work with children, teens and adults.
