Please be aware of the following policies:
  • For our currently enrolled students - payment for class is due the first week of the session and in advance of any class
    you intend to take.

  • A 10% late fee will be applied to all outstanding tuition at the beginning of week two of any given session. Please note
that this does not apply to new students, only to currently enrolled students who have outstanding tuition amounts due.

  • While we still maintain our policy of allowing make-ups for missed work - it is the responsibility of the student / parent to
clarify the specific date for which the make-up is being done. If you can't tell the office the specific class for which you are
doing a make up, you don't get to use it. You must give the office this information before going into class.

  • Please remember that we begin taking registration for currently enrolled students three weeks before the next session
begins, giving our participants four weeks in which to register.

  • If you are using a Dance Card, you must bring the Dance Card to the Dance Workshop for each class. If you don't bring
the card, you will need to pay for the class some other way.

  • Are you aware of our illness policy? If you or your child is coughing, sneezing, running a temperature... Please stay home!

  • Students taking pointe must be aware of, and have signed a Pointe Policies sheet, young adults and children must have
the sheet signed by a parent.

  • Any class with a double asterisk (**) is a double booked class. Which ever class gets the most tuition sign ups will run.

What is a Dance Flash Mob Class? Why are there two FREE classes listed on the schedule?
Pamela wrote a proposal for creating dance in public places called, “Taking It To The Streets.”  This
proposal included offering two free dance classes a week for the express purpose of learning
choreography that community residents could perform in public places and learning dance improvisation
techniques for dance in public places. (Flash Mob style) One of the classes is funded through the City of
Davis’ Arts Contract Program and the other is funded through the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop. The
Civic Arts Commission was really excited by this idea! The classes may be done on a drop in basis, and all
Davis residents, ages 7 – senior citizens, are welcome!  As there is only room for a brief description here,
check out our web page and bulletin boards for more info as we get closer to Spring I. Please give the
office person your name and contact information, if you’re interested. We hope that you’ll join us! It’s all
about community and creating moments of unexpected dance! (And, NO, you don’t have to be a trained
dancer to participate!)
