Apprentice Company

The Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre is a post-
modern, contemporary dance company. The
Apprentice Company is comprised of younger dancers
working towards the higher demands of technique and
performance required by the main company.
During the 2009-2010 season, Pamela began working
with a select group of younger dancers, preparing
them for that more intensive dance experience. This
September begins a new season! Interested dancers
and their parents should speak to Pamela regarding the
“AppCo” and should plan to participate in the PTDT/Third
Stage auditions on Saturday, September 3.
Apprentice Company dancers must commit to work
with the PTDT for the entire concert season, in addition
to performances at local elementary schools. The time
commitment includes the ongoing Tuesday and
Thursday classes, some Friday afternoons and some
Sundays, as well as all performance dates.
The season commitment runs from September 2011
until the student concert in June, 2012.
